Heart Guardian HR-501, in perfect Korean style, has a convenient pediatric selector switch that allows the discharge power to be reduced to 50J when operating on children under 8 years of age or weighing less than 25 kg. This feature, combined with its ease of use and IP54 dust and water protection rating, makes it a suitable product for any setting. Despite being a low-cost defibrillator, the Korean company RadianQbio made the HR-501 using high-quality materials and components, ensuring performance comparable to more expensive products.

Standard equipment includes a nonrechargeable lithium manganese battery, a pair of adult and pediatric electrodes, and a carrying bag. Technically, the defibrillator offers ECG analysis in 8.5 seconds, a shock charge in 8 seconds, and a discharge power of 150J±10% for adults and 50J±10% for children. Data transfer is via Bluetooth 2.0. The lithium manganese battery lasts up to 200 shocks.
