Septaldehyde 2.0 – Disinfectant for reusable invasive and non-invasive medical devices

Septaldehyde 2.0 is a ready-to-use disinfectant based on glutaraldehyde (2%) in an acid environment, designed for cold disinfection of reusable, invasive and noninvasive medical devices, including heat-sensitive ones.

It is easily used in immersion, even with ultrasound, and is ideal in health and dental settings for instrumentation requiring effective treatment without high temperatures. Under “clean” conditions, it acts in 10 minutes with a broad spectrum of action on bacteria, mycetes, mycobacteria and enveloped viruses.

The formulation is designed to ensure good compatibility with materials: it is easily rinsed, does not corrode metals and does not deteriorate rubber.

Suitable for surgical (including dental) instruments, fiber-optic instruments, respiratory tubes, anesthesia equipment, and, in general, reusable medical devices that need quick and reliable disinfection.
