Medic 1 and Medic 2 from PVS: small and big icon of Italian first aid for more than 50 years

Since 1975, PVS has presented two complementary versions of the same design: Medic 1, the compact box, and Medic 2, the larger capacity box. Since their simultaneous debut, both have ensured quick and safe first aid interventions in construction sites, offices and factories in Italy. Today they comply with the directives of DM 388/2003 and, in the past, have accommodated all previous Italian regulations, always remaining aligned with current laws.

Although different in size, Medic 1 and Medic 2 share the same essential components: sterile gauze, band-aids, scissors, tweezers, gloves, and first aid products. Medic 1, with its small footprint, fits perfectly in tight spaces or company vehicles; Medic 2, with its larger capacity, accommodates an extended assortment of materials for large work sites and industrial production.

Continuous research and development has led over time to the inclusion of diverse content within the boxes to meet different national and international regulatory requirements. On the foreign front, Medic 1 and Medic 2 are configured according to the regulations of Europe, Africa and the Middle East, and exported with kits tailored to each market.

Commercially, Medic 1 has exceeded 14 million pieces sold, while Medic 2 has reached over 5 million pieces, testifying to the trust of companies in the civil, industrial and public sectors. In addition, over the years more than 2,000 dealers and distributors in Italy, Europe, Africa and the Middle East have included our kits in their portfolios, ensuring widespread coverage and immediate availability of up-to-date first aid solutions.
