Apothecary silk spools

The device consists of a spool, which can be either made of plastic material or cardboard, on which the adhesive plaster made of 100% acetate fabric (so-called silk) is wrapped. The high conformability and adaptability of the fabric allows easy application on difficult joints and contours of the body, not restricting skin movement.

The coil can be covered with a plastic coil cover (configuration intended for pharmacies) or without a coil cover (hospital configuration).

The material from which the patch is made is nontoxic and offers a guarantee of hypoallergenicity, ruling out sensitization phenomena.
A hypoallergenic polyacrylic adhesive mass is evenly distributed on the backing, ensuring excellent skin tolerance and thus a low frequency of allergic reactions.

The adhesive characteristics of the patch allow painless detachment.

The material from which the product is made is highly permeable to air and is non-occlusive, allowing the skin to breathe resulting in rapid wound healing.

The device is available only in its nonsterile (sterilizable) state .
At the time of use, the patch should be unrolled from its holder by taking the amount needed to secure the dressing.

The withdrawn amount should be applied to the dressing affixed to the wound, taking care to keep the latter in the center of the strip of plaster.
